Yes! Anyone is welcome to use library facilities without a library card. A library card is only need to check out items (books, dvds, etc.). Please note that some services, such as obtaining a guest pass for the computers or entrance to a study room, require photo ID.

The wifi in each branch is labeled "FreeLibraryWireless". There is no password. To connect, select that wifi, enter a valid email address in the yellow box, click "Log In", and wait to be connected. Once it has connected successfully it will automatically redirect. If you have any issues or otherwise require assistance, ask any staff.

No! We request that all patrons keep noises within normal indoor range, but whispering, hushing others, apologizing for squeaky shoes, and other similar behavior is not required.

No, branches do not have mandated quiet floors or areas. Enclosed study rooms are available at the Lee Avenue branch, but they are not soundproof. That being said, each library is generally quiet. If you have a need where you require a completely quiet space (for example, to complete an online test or virtual job interview) please call your local branch to see what assistance they can offer at the time.

Yes, all books borrowed from any library can be returned to any library. You do not have to return the book to the same branch you checked it out from.

Yes! You can put a book on reserve and have that book brought to any branch in the district. Specify with the librarian putting the item on reserve for you where you would like to pick it up. If you are reserving the item yourself through OPAC, it will automatically go to your home branch. Call any library to find out what your home branch is. Your home branch is generally the location at which your card was first made. The item will take some time to get there, usually a week, but we will get it to you!
